riding Lessons

At Northwestern Stables we teach English riding, with a focus on the hunter style – appropriate movement of the horse, correct positioning of the rider on the flat, and jumping over cross rails and vertical fences up to 3 foot in height.  Besides the basics of horsemanship, the riders also learn responsibility, confidence, self-esteem and compassion. Lessons run every Monday-Friday in hourly slots from 4pm to 8pm, and on Saturday from 10 am until 2pm.

Saturday classes are our most popular day and often there is a wait list for any new riders. We have a work load limit for our horses therefore can only accept a certain number of students.
