Northwestern Stables is back in the saddle for year-round horse shows and public events. As a sponsor, you can be recognized at one or more of these gatherings with signage and more. Sponsorship dollars are critical to NWS, helping provide care for the horses, resources to preserve the historic buildings, and discounted lessons for deserving riders. A nonprofit organization, NWS receives no public funding for its activities.
2023 Sponsorship Opportunities
Indoor Riding Arena – Northwestern Stables has one of the area’s only large indoor riding arenas. It is used year-round for lessons (more than 100 students per week), summer camp, horse shows, and mini-lessons during special events.
IEA Shows – September 3 & October 1| NWS will host two Interscholastic Equestrian Association shows which attract middle school and high school teams from across the region. During the rigorous competition, riders earn points that could propel them onto the national stage. As many as 500 riders and spectators descend upon NWS for these all-day shows.
Fall Schooling Show (November 5) & Fairmount Park Horse Show (Spring 2024) | Our youngest to most experienced students demonstrate their equestrian skills twice a year at these “home” shows. The grounds swell with hundreds of supportive parents, siblings, and friends.
Haunted Horses – October 28 | Sold out in 2022, Haunted Horses has steadily grown in popularity, attracting more than 500 visitors. Harry & Horsey Potter, Stranger Things, Tinker Bell and Peter Pan, and a Starbucks Barista with a Grande have been among the horses and riders offering treats in recent years.
Holiday Horses & Bazaar – December 2 | Combine seasonal shopping, hot chocolate, and photos with Santa (and his horse) during a magical trip to the Barn. Plus, popular mini-lessons give youngsters a chance to ride – often for the first time.
